Never again hear the words "I told you so"

Please feel free to air your concerns here. Tell us what you are dealing with in your life. Let us give you some feedback. Believe me over the years there is nothing we haven't heard before. Sometimes you don't want to tell family and friends the little pickles or big jams you have gotten yourself into. Perhaps there is a simple solution to your problem and it just has not revealed itself to you yet. Tell us your fears, challenges and failures. Celebrate with us your greatest accomplishments. Offer hope to others. I am optimistic we can get through anything if we all support each other in this life.

dear rose and julie, i am a 26 year old man and i have a problem that i cannot reveal to my family. i am gay, i have always been gay, but i am ashamed to tell anyone so i pretend to like women. i actually have my "girlfriend" pregnant. it was an accident but it covers it up pretty well. but the voices in my head are yelling"GAY POWER". WHAT SHOULD I DO. HOW SHOULD I TELL MY SECRET? WHAT ABOUT MY BABY, WILL IT BE A WEIRD CHILD? PLEASE HELP.

DESPERATLY GAY

Being gay is nothing to be ashamed of. You need to find a way to talk about this and gain some support. No your child will not be weird because you are gay. Just be sure your girlfriend gets some prenatal care, this is important for any pregnant woman. Hearing voices may be a concern and if this continues you should seek mental health evaluation at a local mental health center

Not living your life the way you want to is what is unacceptable. People are people no matter what. If you are surrounded by people that don't accept the person you are then you need to find others that will. There is nothing worse than living a lie, no matter what that life is. When you do- the lie becomes other peoples as well and then it becomes their issue as well. JULIE
